Jailhouse Rock was made with a budget of $1 Million and with a runtime of 96 minutes, the movie went on to earn $4 Million in box-office collection. The movie’s star-cast includes Elvis Presley, Judy Tyler, Mickey Shaughnessy. It was about the journey of a man sentenced to prison for manslaughter to a massive musical star.

The movie was a huge hit and in 2004, it was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress. Elvis’s dance performance in the film’s massively popular title song “Jailhouse Rock” song is often considered to be his “greatest moment on screen”. King Creole (1958)

King Creole was about the story of a 19-year boy who gets caught between his musical career, crime life, and two women. The film’s runtime was 116 minutes and it was both a commercial as well as a critical success.

The film’s single, “Hard Headed Woman” captured the number one position on the Billboard singles chart and was even certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Flaming Star (1960)

Flaming Star came out in 1960 and Elvis delivers one of the best and most emotional performances of all time in this one. This was an American western film and it starred Elvis Presley and Barbara Eden in the lead roles. The film captured the number 12th position on the box-office charts. Viva Las Vegas (1964)

Viva Las Vegas came out in 1964 and it had a runtime of 85 minutes. This musical film starred Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret in the lead roles and it was both a commercial and critical success. It follows the story of a man who goes to Las Vegas to compete in the Grand Prix Race. Elvis shares great on-screen chemistry with Ann-Margret in the movie.
